Day 01: Chennai
Arrival Chennai. Afternoon city sightseeing tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram to see ancient temples. Later, proceed to Mahabalipuram to see temples there. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry - Gangaikondacholapuram - Swamimalai
Morning after breakfast at the hotel depart for Swamimalai by car. En route visit Pondicherry and Gangaikondacholapuram. In Pondicherry visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.
Day 04: Swamimalai - Tanjore
Morning visit Darasuram Temple and the Institute of Iconography. Later drive to Tanjore. Afternoon, visit the 9th century Chola Temple of Brihadeeswara at Tanjore.
Day 05: Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai
After breakfast depart for Madurai by car. En route visit Trichy. Evening watch religious ceremonies at Meenakshi Temple, Madurai.
Day 06: Madurai - Periyar
Morning visit Meenakshi Temple and Tirumalai Nayak Palace. Afternoon drive to Periyar.
Day 07: Periyar - Kumarakom - Alleppey
Early morning boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Later drive to Kumarakom and board the House Boat or Kettuvalom. Stay in the house boat and cruise the Backwaters in and around Alleppey.
Day 08: Alleppey - Cochin
Explore rural life in the Backwaters. Later, disembark at Alleppey and drive to Cochin. Evening watch a Kathakali dance performance.
Day 09: Cochin
Morning city sightseeing tour. Evening walk in the Fort Cochin area.
Day 10: Cochin - Ooty
After breakfast depart for Ooty by car. Evening free.
Day 11: Ooty - Mysore
Morning enjoy Toy Train ride and proceed by car to Mysore. Evening visit the Chamundishree Temple.
Day 12: Mysore - Hassan
Morning city sightseeing tour of Mysore including the Palace of the Maharaja of Mysore. Later depart for Hassan by car. En route visit Srirangapatnam - Tipu Sultan's 18th century summer palace.
Day 13: Hassan - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore
Morning excursion to the 11th century Temples of Belur and Halebid. Later depart for Bangalore. En route visit Shravanbelgola.
Day 14: Bangalore - Chennai
Morning is free for shopping. Evening fly to Chennai to connect your flight for onward journey.
